Adam Joseph

I believe that a good story can transmute one's spirit. My art is the pursuit of this kind of alchemy. At twenty-three, I knew that becoming a serious writer, an author, was a path I wanted to pursue.

Since then, I have quietly worked to master the art of writing, producing eight manuscripts for the purpose of honing my craft. In 2021, I self-published one of these manuscripts as a series called Prosperity, a literacy fiction novel that explores the juxtaposition of fortune and misfortune and how we use these counterpoints to find meaning in our lives.

I recently completed work on my eighth manuscript, The Way Of Cain, which I will publish in 2025.

My Story
I pursue what brings me meaning, peace and joy.
I enjoy raising my three kids, and being involved with their pursuits and hobbies.
In my professional career, I have spent 15 years in the insurance industry and the past eight years as a business executive for Hagerty, an automotive brand most prominent for selling insurance for classic cars.
I use my free-time for art, culture, and athletics: writing, photography, reading, guitar, cooking, travel, strength training, running, watersports, golf, hunting, fishing, and cold plunge.

My art is inspired by my personal life. The Old Mission Peninsula, where I was raised and now reside, has been a consistent muse. The vicissitudes of my life have produced highs and lows. The compensation of which are lessons that I have placed into the mosaic of my writing.

My work centers on redemption or the lack of it. It explores who we are at our best, and worst. I seek to capture human nature right at the edge, the full scope, right where we can see it all, and explore our deeper truths.
